The slave of Al-Hamra, de Blas Malo

Today I'll make a break from the usual on this blog, to speak of a novel that has caused me a good impression, I mean "The slave of Al-Hamra" de Blas Malo. This is his first novel, and in two months it has published its second edition.

The novel delves into the intricacies of a story well designed, that takes us back to a time in Spain is not well known.

The description of their locations, their daily lives and detailed construction of buildings admired for centuries, make the reader enjoys among its pages of odors and flavors, you feel anger, rebellion, satisfaction and daydreams.

If after reading the last page close the book, feel a strong desire to go to the city of Granada, stroll through the historic streets, visiting the Alhambra and Generalife in dark corners looking for a glimpse of the footprint of its protagonists. Admire the rooms, gardens and the intricacies of what was once the palace of the last Muslim kingdom in the West.

Anyone who interested to know a little of what was Al-Andalus, mixed with a story of love and hate, adventure and war, revenge and death. This is his novel.
